Miles Water Engineering – Dredging of Gas Dyke at Beccles Quay along the River Waveney. Work has begun on behalf of Beccles Fenland Charity Trust who manages the lands around Beccles Quay and Yacht Station, including the river, common, marshes and allotments. Beccles Town Council acts as the Sole Trustee for the charity, established in March 2011 to manage lands granted to the town by Queen Elizabeth I in her Charter dated 1584.
